Flu Shots
I took the kids to get their flu shots today. Our doctor really pushes for it since Michael has asthma. He volunteered to go first and was very brave. Carissa went next. And then it was Nicholas' turn (I think we should have put him last after Brielle). Anyway, he freaked. Started squirming and crying. And of course, the injection site started gushing blood. That upset him even more. He swears he will not get another flu shot ever - until he's 12! Brielle whimpered a little and then, true to form, thanked the nurse.

We don't do the flu shot thing. Isn't it great how when the kids get all dramatic, the results actually are worse. He's not holding out very long if he's willing to reconsider by 12.
